The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that ANY should perish, but that ALL should come to repentance.

2 Peter 3:9. INCREDIBLE. *God is longsuffering to US!* Wow! He really doesn’t want us to be lost. So grateful. He gives us chance after chance after chance after chance… Make a choice today!

longsuffering = makrothymeō (Strong’s G3114) - to be of a long spirit, not to lose heart

a.) to persevere patiently and bravely in enduring misfortunes and troubles

b.) to be patient in bearing the offenses and injuries of others; i.) to be mild and slow in avenging, ii.) to be longsuffering, slow to anger, slow to punish
