I would like to welcome you to my online spiritual journal!  THANK YOU for stopping by!  I hope that something you read, hear, or see here will bless you today and moving forward.  I wanted to answer a few questions about this blog and its purpose.  
 

This is not simply a blog with my thoughts and musings on a variety of topics. Though I may eventually have a blog of that sort (especially dealing with the social justice issues many of you know I’m quite passionate about), this is an online spiritual journal.  What’s that?  A journal is defined as “a daily record of news and events of a personal nature; a diary.”  For me, a spiritual journal is a regular record of one’s spiritual walk with Christ.  I have been “journaling” for more than a year and it is an incredible blessing while praying, writing, reviewing, and reflecting.  I write my heart to God and His words to me, songs and scriptures, and notes and reflections (with dates) from my time spent with Him alone and with His people.

This online spiritual journal is an extension of that.  I am essentially sharing from my walk with God with the hopes that someone will be blessed.  More specifically, I hope you will be inspired, encouraged, challenged, and pushed toward greater relationship, in love and surrender, with Him.  I’ll open up about some of the things I’m thinking about, moved by, and learning from Him.  I hope a greater desire for Jesus is sparked, rekindled, or intensified in you, enough to cause growth and progress in your walk, wherever you currently are.

 So what can you expect?  Scriptures, songs, videos of all sorts, quotes, links, brief thoughts, longer posts, tips for building your relationship with Him, etc., at least a few times every week, likely more.  I clearly don’t know it all but I’m striving and growing, falling more in love and giving more of myself away each day as I walk with Him.  I think sharing some of this process might help somebody else.  I’m really excited and I hope you are too.  That’s all for now folks.  Feel free to share, follow the blog, etc.  I hope it’s a blessing.  I love you but not nearly as much as He does!  God bless you and have a wonderful day!
