So grateful that He hears me, that there’s power in that name.

Jeremiah 33:3 - Call unto Me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Philippians 3:4-11
[4] Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:
[5] Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;
[6] Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
[7] But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
[8] Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
[9] And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
[10] That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
[11] If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

Help us to prioritize knowing You, whatever the cost! It means that much to us Lord. We want to know You, really know You, for ourselves. Help us to daily put the time in prayer and Your word, making time with You the non-negotiable it should be. In Jesus’ name, amen.

God is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, the first and the last. In the context of Him, in the context of eternity, even in just the context of the present (with the six billion plus people on the planet), I am just one little speck. But I’m so grateful that this God of indescribable proportion and eternal perspective, so big and so long, loves me. He thinks of me. He speaks to me. He cares for me. He directs me. He corrects me. He molds me. He chose me. And, though I wish there were grander words and a tribute magnificent enough to just begin giving Him the honor He truly deserves, I simply thank Him and give Him this life, all of it, all of me, for choosing to love me.

Lord, I thank You.

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. (Psalms 91:1)

Safety. Refuge. Protection. The Lord God Almighty is an impregnable fortress for those who place their trust in Him. He is a strong shelter to those who depend on His name. Never shall He fail. Never shall He weaken. Never shall those who trust in Him be dismayed! Trust in Him and take courage in His majesty!
